IKEA started a plastic bag reduction program earlier this year. My first time in the store after they did was a shock when they said I would have to buy the bags I wanted to use to tote home my loot. But they now sell these really fabulous big sturdy plastic totes (not the blue/yellow shopping bags you get for in the store) for just a buck or two that have been the best addition to my grocery shopping ensemble. If you're in IKEA, look at the start of the dishes/small wares section and I'm sure you'll find the bags. Buy a couple!
