Having a “Green” Party
I love entertaining, and if I can incorporate “going green” along with it, even better. I’m a little late to the party on this one, since it was published in 2006, but it still ranks as a cool find in my book. Danny Seo, a popular environmental activist and columnist for Country Home magazine, recently wrote Simply Green Parties, which is filled with budget-friendly ideas on entertaining with recycled or biodegradable items.
The book has 50 quick and simple projects that are categorized under various party themes, like Dinner Under the Stars, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties and more. Mix and match what works for you, and throw the perfect fete for your occasion. I think the Dinner Under the Stars sounds like the perfect way to usher in Spring and the warmer weather.
