What really got me thinking about all the plastic we use was learning about the &lt;a href="http://www.naturalhistorymag.com/1103/1103_feature.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;Eastern Garbage Patch&lt;/a&gt;, which is an area of floating garbage in the Pacific Ocean twice the size of Texas. I'm now much more careful about how much plastic I buy and how I recycle or dispose of it.</description>
