Todd English’s Pick for Going Green in the Kitchen

postscraper_2008-actual.jpgIn a recent issue of Cooking Light magazine, a number of food and decorating experts offered up their picks for eco-friendly kitchen gear. When I saw that famed chef Todd English’s pick was only $2, I was all over it.

Chef and restauranteur Todd English suggests using a Bambu Bamboo Pot Scraper, which you can purchase  from Green Feet.  As he says, “It may be small and simple, but it’s durable and does a great job of cleaning stainless, cast iron, and enamel pans without using chemicals or scratching the surface.  Plus, it’s made from a sustainable resource, and it’s econmical - I can use it over and over.”

I love that his go-green pick is affordable too.  Happy shopping!
