Celebrate Earth Day with Disneynature
Earth Day is less than a month away (April 22) and the folks at Disneynature are gearing up to celebrate in a big way. On Earth Day, they will be unveiling their new movie EARTH in theaters nationwide.
Narrated by James Earl Jones, the new movie tells the story of three animal families (polar bears, elephants and whales) and their journey on planet earth. Speaking of planet earth, this movie is from the very same creators of that popular series, so you know the screen will be filled with rich color, a moving story and images you won’t forget. Rated G, it will be one to watch for your whole family to enjoy together.
To get even more from the film, there are also free EARTH educational materials available for your downloading pleasure. There is a 58-page EARTH Educator’s Guide that has a nice collection of activities for all ages, and an 8-page EARTH activity guide for grades 3-5. I’ve seen previews and pictures from the upcoming movie, and they are stunning. This is definitely “one to watch.”
