Heidi grew up in Syracuse, N.Y. where she began tending to a plot in the family vegetable garden at an early age. After attending the University of New Hampshire and Trinity College in Washington D.C., Heidi taught high school English and Social Studies for five years in Washington DC. Currently a resident of Takoma Park, MD, Heidi is planning to move to Vermont this spring to pursue her dream of becoming an organic farmer.
